The understanding of the physical, emotional and mental impact of disease goes back to the beginning of my life as I was born with severe psoriasis, inherited from my father, which became chronic as years passed by, I was treated by different dermatologists who limited themselves to prescribing cortisone creams or oral cortisone, so I spent the first 12 years of my life, desperate, as nothing worked, self-conscious and with a broken image since psoriasis covered my entire body, including my face. These were very hard years that have marked even my personality to this day. The dermatologists at this point had already told me that psoriasis does not heal and that I would have it with greater or lesser extent all my life.

My mother, 35 years ago, when alternative medicine was not generally practised, found a naturopathic and homeopathic doctor in Madrid, here begins the awareness and understanding that I have maintained all my life.

The first thing he did was change my diet, only with this change my body gradually, over the period of 1 year, had an unimaginable change, the psoriasis had disappeared from almost my entire body, it remained in some areas where it resisted, but with determination and discipline was gradually disappearing. It has appeared again in adolescent stages and almost up to the age of 30, intermittently. It has led me to understand the impact that other areas have on health, starting with the intense work of managing my emotions, how I think and how I perceive life. With this shift in my mind set, it came to a point where my psoriasis completely disappears, to this day.

I have always had the need to understand what BEAUTY is, I suppose that I was absolutely conditioned by my childhood together with the intense need to feel the beauty, which I had never felt before. My life became an “investigation” and a “conquest” of what might make that possible, that I find myself beautiful and unique. After high school, I decided to study aesthetics, thinking that I would find answers here, as I had a skin condition it was logical that I thought that beauty lies in the skin … but as we all know that´s not all. I immediately realized I lacked many tools to understand beauty in its real form and its entirety. Intuition lead me to direct my gaze inwardly, I began to understand how our body is projected in terms of health as another part of that perception of beauty, so I decide to study nutrition. I still felt that pieces were missing, as when someone is sad, angry, frustrated or dissatisfied, no matter how beautiful his physique is, beauty doesn´t seem to show!

So, I then embark on a branch of psychology where I am titled as a life coach. Emotional and vital management is where I really find the crux of the matter. It is in how we perceive ourselves and how we perceive or think about our environment, that “makes you or breaks you”. It is together with the care of our physical health and appearance, the fundamental piece of that puzzle of “eternal and lasting beauty”.

Studying Naturopathy to have an even deeper understanding has closed the circle of my holistic approach to beauty and health, although, undoubtedly, the inner life is so complex that it never ceases to amaze and fascinate me, and drives me on to keep the researching and gaining knowledge mode.

Over the years I have understood that our body is an indivisible unit and that everything affects everything, our physical and energy bodies interact constantly to achieve well-being; it is not just a physical matter, if you work the body but do not work the thought and the emotion you will be only a third of the way, it is about bringing awareness to each area of our being, although without a doubt once you start working on one of your areas it has a positive impact on all the others.

Genetic inheritance, in my opinion, is not a “condemnation” and what I have learned over the years is that it depends on the “terrain” in which the cells live that the experience of the disease can oscillate between 0 and 100 and this depends mainly on the choices we make in life. The “cellular terrain” is affected not only by our nutritional and life habits, but also, in a definitive way, by how we think, feel and perceive life. The exercise of questioning your way of doing things can be painful, but it has innumerable joys and satisfactions and it positions you in control of your life, it keeps you young and, in my case, free of disease. I have been without psoriasis for over 20 years despite this inherited genetic condition.

It was the incredible feeling of well-being, beauty and control that made me think that my life purpose was to help those who want a change and need a guide, a mentor or need the formulas of how to carry out the desired transformation, with the appropriate support.
