Our health is supported by different activities that commonly happen in our daily life, eating, drinking, exercising, resting, sleeping and maintaining the state of mind. If a problem develops in any of these areas, the entire body will be affected due to the complex interconnections within the human body. To maintain good health in contemporary society, it is essential to understand the mechanism of your own body and exercise the will to take care of your own health.

Do you consider yourself a healthy person? Not many people can answer this question with a definite "yes" because not being sick is not the same as being healthy.

In Western medicine there is the term called "latent disease." This term represents a condition in which a person is not yet sick but not completely healthy. In other words, it is a state in which a person is one step away from contracting a disease.

Right now, millions of people live in this condition. Even people who consider themselves healthy are affected by problems such as chronic constipation or diarrhoea, allergies, hypo or hyper thyroidism, inflammation, headache, fatigue, insomnia, tension in the neck and shoulders ... etc. These symptoms are distress signals your body sends you. And if you just think "this is normal for me" or "I am normally like this", you run the risk that the condition progresses to a serious illness.

If this is the case, then the question is what lifestyle should we follow in order to have a long and healthy existence? The healthcare industry is a huge market, with products spilling out of store counters. Many people buy healthy food supplements because the labels tell them that only one remedy will solve their problems, just by drinking or swallowing the daily supplement. In the short term, this means that most people do not really understand what is really good for their body, and therefore it is easy to be manipulated by the media.

To live a long and healthy life it is recommended:

  1. Diet rich in fruits, raw or very lightly steamed vegetables, sprouted legumes, nuts and natural seeds without roasting or salting
  2. Eliminate processed, refined, industrialized foods from the diet, do not consume sugars, alcohol or processed beverages
